Member Firms
Member Firms are engineering firms that provide professional engineering services in Mississippi. Member Firms represent all engineering disciplines and services, and range in sizes from one-person operations to large firms. You must have a permanent office in the state, staffed by one or more licensed professional engineers. Dues are calculated based on the number of full-time employees you have employed in Mississippi. Once you join, you are a member in both Mississippi and at the National level.

POLITICAL ADVOCACY
ACEC/MS staff and professional lobbyists monitor dozens of bills every year on issues that affect nearly every aspect of the engineering business and advocate on behalf of ACEC/MS member firms to protect their interests.
NETWORKING EVENTS AND WEBINARS
Members have opportunities to network with other professionals or to serve on our leadership committees. We offer many events and webinars throughout the year covering relevant topics for engineers in our state.
NATIONAL ACEC MEMBERSHIP
Representation on a national level and access to ACEC programs.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Professional development hours (PDH’s) can be earned at ACEC/MS meetings throughout the year.
ACCESS TO ACEC TRUST PROGRAMS
Business Insurance, Life/Health Insurance, and Retirement.
Affiliate Firms
Affiliate Members are businesses that support the goals of ACEC Mississippi and the engineering industry. Through membership, Affiliates gain the opportunity to network with industry leaders through programs and other ACEC/MS functions. Affiliate Membership provides the best opportunity for access to our member firms. ACEC/MS is comprised of 90 engineering companies, representing approximately 1,800 employees across the state.
Affiliate Member Benefits Include:
- The opportunity to network with our members at all ACEC/MS annual meetings and seminars. (Winter Meeting in March, Deep South Convention in July, Roosevelt Day in August, and Fall Meeting in November).
- First choice of corporate sponsorships at our annual meetings and seminars (Winter Meeting in March, Deep South Convention in July and Fall Meeting in November).
- The opportunity to register for our educational/management seminars at the member price.
- A complimentary subscription to our ACEC/MS quarterly newsletter “The ACEC Connection” and a feature article highlighting the affiliate’s reason for supporting ACEC/MS and products/services offered.
- First choice of advertising in our newsletter.
- Listing on our ACEC/MS website.
Affiliate members shall be approved by the ACEC/MS Board of Directors. Affiliates will not be voting members but are encouraged to serve on committees. Affiliate membership shall be on a fiscal year annual basis and run from July through June. Your dues investment is $750 per year with an option to contribute to our Legislative Legal Fund at $37 per year.
